NRL PARTY UPDATE

Port's innaugural NRL Grand Final Party is shaping up to be a big event. With interest in the event coming from all quarters, a great crowd should turn up to watch the game on what is rumoured to be a five metre by four metre projection screen!!

With the crowd anticipated, the atmosphere should be electric as the two Grand Final teams go head to head for the right to be labelled NRL Champions for 2003. All combinations of combatants are tantalising:

Roosters v Panthers - Defending Premiers against Minor Premiers of 2003, and the top two teams of the season
Roosters v Warriors - A replay of last years Grand Final and possibly the match featuring the two teams in the best form of the semi finals series
Bulldogs v Panthers - Last years "premiers" in some people's minds and together with the Roosters, the most consisten team over the past two seasons up against Minor Premiers and Mountain Men Penrith
Bulldogs v Warriors - The match up many were expecting last year until The Bulldogs salary cap fiasco. Both sides have one thing in common - a lot of Kiwi support.

Port Kembla Leagues Club is the venue for the Grand Final Party with doors opening at 3.30pm. Entry is $20 per person which includes a BBQ meal, four complimentary drink tickets and entertainment with Darryl "Dasher" Winnell. There will be an NRL raffle with the prize being an autographed jersey from an NRL Club. There will also be a mini silent memorabilia auction with the chance to grab some great pieces including a one-off autographed limited edition polo shirt from the Dragons Legends vs USA Tomohawks match played at OKI Jubilee Stadium at the start of the 2003 season; an autogrpahed Clinton Schifcoske piece; signed Origin Legends jerseys; signed Canberra Raiders Jersey; Signed Cronulla Sharks Jersey and more.
